KK Cancels Contentious Land Deal To Bail Out TRS Government

In a sudden turn of events, TRS Rajya Sabha MP and senior leader K Keshava Rao, now embroiled in the unsavoury Goldstone land scam, has decided to cancel the sale deed for the 36 acres of contentious lands he purchased in Ibrahimpatnam. She wants the seller of the land to return the money with interest.

KK, who addressed the media on Wednesday, said he would approach the court to serve notices on those who sold lands to him. He said he did not want to go into a confrontational mode with his own Government. He also said he wanted to ensure that there was no black spot on the TRS Government.

The revenue officials have also decided to cancel the registration of the 36 acres of the land. The officials have sent a report to the Government to this effect.
