Kiran floats new party - Sakshi Post

Former Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy addressed the media at his office in Madhapur on Thursday evening.

Excerpts from his speech

"Telangana Bill was approved off in the Parliament in an undemocratic manner. As a mark of protest, I resigned from the post of chief minister," he said.

  • My life is like an open book and all the allegations against me are false
  • Not afraid of Governor reviewing my decisions, I brought in transparency
  • I am launching a new party to fight for and save Telugu pride and self respect.
  • All parties, national and regional parties, have failed to fulfill the aspirations of Telugu people
  • Congress and BJP joined hands to divide Telugu people
  • Chandrababu could not give his opinion even in Assembly. It was so disgraceful. He is only trying to become the chief minister, and is not thinking about his own people
  • Irrespective of the bifurcation, I am confident that Telugu people will be united at sometime in future, just like Germany.

Kiran will announce the name and manifesto of his party on March 12 in Rajahmundry. His party will contest in Telangana and Seemandhra areas as well.
