Key accused in actress abduction taken to Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The prime accused in the recent abduction and alleged molestation of an actress in Kerala and his accomplice were brought on Sunday here as part of the probe into the case, police said.
'Pulsar' Suni and his accomplice V P Vigeesh were brought here early today for holding inquiry with house owners as the two are believed to have stayed at Peelamedu and Srirampura in the city after committing the crime, they said.
The team of police personnel from Aluva and Ernakulam in Kerala also inquired with a person, whose two-wheeler was used by 'Pulsar' Suni. However, the owner reportedly said he has lodged a complaint that his bike was stolen, they said. They also inquired with a youth, with whom Vigesh shared a room, they said. After the inquiry, the team returned to Kerala, police said.
The actress was abducted and allegedly molested inside her car by the accused, who had forced their way into the vehicle on the night of February 17 near Kochi.
