KCR trying to woo Tummala into his party?
If the grapevines are to be believed, the TRS leadership is trying to induct former minister and senior TDP leader Tummala Nageswara Rao into the party.
Tummala has been an active leader in TDP since the beginning and also worked as a minister in the cabinets of N.T.Rama Rao and N.Chandrababu Naidu.
Tummala was defeated in the last elections due to group politics in the party. He has some differences of opinion with other party leader in the district and former MP Nama Nageswara Rao.
The group of Nama is doing the propaganda that Tummala got an offer from TRS party. But, the associates of Tummala are denying the news.
Tummala has close association with Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao for three decades.
The news reports suggested that KCR wants to induct Tummala into his party and give him a berth in his cabinet my sending him to legislative council as he is strong leader from Kamma community.
His community has strong presence in Adilabad, Nizamabad and Hyderabad districts.
We have to wait and see whether Tummala will join TRS or not.
