Both states should work together for development : Venkaiah

Union Minister for Urban Affairs,M.Venkaiah Naidu, said that both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should work together for the development of their respective states in all fields.

He advised both the states to opt for discussions if they face any problem.

“Local authorities must work properly for the development of urban areas in the country,” commented the minister.

Naidu, who is also the Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, said that they would soon introduce Insurance Act Amendment Bill in Parliament.

“We will allow 49% FDIs in the insurance sector. The opposition parties should cooperate for the bill,” said the minister.

The minister said that they will use all central funds properly without politicising it. 

He met Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday morning.
