KCR’s tomorrow bandh call draws flak

TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao’s call to observe bandh in Telangana on Saturday protesting against the Government’s aggressive methods and arrests during the ‘Chalo Assembly’ drew criticism from the political parties supporting T cause.

“It’s not appropriate for KCR to call for bandh unilaterally,” said Narayana, CPI State secretary. He alleged that KCR should have consulted TJAC and other political parties before announcing a decision.

BJP disobeys bandh call

The state unit of BJP on Friday announced that it was no way connected with the bandh called by TRS chief KCR. BJP president Kishan Reddy said it was the decision of TRS not by TJAC. He, however, said he would take a decision after having discussions with the TJAC.

Telugu Desam party Telangana Forum, which took part in the ‘Chalo Assembly’ on Friday is yet to announce its decision on the bandh. Sources in TDP said the party may not take part in the bandh.
