'KCR infavour of special status for AP'

“Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao is in favour of special status for Andhra Pradesh,” said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking at Telugu Desam Legislative Party meeting held at assembly committee hall on Monday, he explained to the ministers and party MLAs the details of the discussion he had with his Telangana counterpart in the presence of Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan on Saturday.

Chandrababu told them that the meeting had taken place in a friendly atmosphere.

“We can solve the problems through talks,” said the chief minister.
