KCR chides Pawan, Vijayasanthi for boycotting survey
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao taunted Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and Congress leader Vijayasanthi for boycotting the prestigious intensive household survey taken up by the Telangana government across the state on Tuesday.
It is learnt that Pawan Kalyan and Vijayasanthi have refused to give their details to the enumerators.
Speaking after congratulating the people for making the survey a success, KCR indirectly referred to Pawan and Vijayasanthi and said: "Those who want to stay here as tourists and guests, have not taken party in the survey".
He further said “You are living here and getting all the amenities like drinking water, sewerage facility, street lights, roads and others. When the government is trying to find out what is total population, you are not taking part in it. Being here and you don't want to take participate, this is nothing but a social crime ,” he said.
KCR however praised Pawan's colleague and actor Jr NTR for furnishing details to the enumerators.
He said that Jr NTR might be from Andhra, but he and his family members happily submitted details to the concerned officials.
