KCR Bags Agriculture Leadership Award 2017

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao has been selected for the Agriculture Leadership Award 2017 by the Indian Council of Food and Agriculture.
A committee headed by noted agriculture scientist Prof MS Swaminathan has recommended Rao’s name for the award. The chief minister who is constantly working for the welfare of the farmers has received the award under policy leadership category.
The award will be presented by MS Swaminathan at Taj International Palace, New Delhi on September 5. "Rao has been selected for the award for his innovative and yeoman services being rendered for the welfare of farmers and farm sector," stated Indian Council of Food and Agriculture
The Food and Agriculture Board of India is awarding the people who work for agriculture and rural development since 2008.
