Patancheru Barber Gets Rs1.27 Lakh Electricity Bill

Sangareddy: A man in Muthangi got shock of his life after he received Rs1.27 lakh electricity bill for the July month.

Srinivas, a native of Muthangi of Patancheru mandal is running a hair salon in the village. He was shocked when he saw the electricity bill of Rs1.27 lakh for the July month. Usually Srinivas' monthly bill does not cross more than Rs200. But the bill of July gave a big shock to Srinivas.

Srinivas attempts to resolve the issue have failed after he went to the electricity office at Patancheru. The officers there told him to go to Sangareddy office to resolve the issue. On writing a letter to TSSPDCL, the power officials on Saturday inspected the electricity of Srinivas and found that the existing meter was a defective one. A new bill of Rs572 was issued after resolving the issue and fixing another meter.
