Kaka Venkat Swamy critically ill

Senior Congress leader G Venkata Swamy is critically ill. He has been admitted to the Care Hospital in Banjara Hills and has been placed on ventillator. Doctors have been treating him in the ICU. Senior Congress leaders D Srinivas and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar rushed to the hospital and enquired about his health condition. Popularly known as Kaka, Venkatswami is a freedom fighter and waged a battle against the tyrannical rule of Nizam. He was a union minister and was a CWC member. His sons G Vivek and G Vinod were MP and MLA respectively.
