Junior artist commits suicide in Hyderabad

A junior artist has committed suicide at Tukaramagate in Hyderabad being unable to bear the tortures of her husband.

The incident took place at Tukaramagate police station limits in the city.

As per the version of SI of police, Nisha and Shameer had married about six years ago and are living at Ambedkar Nagar in the city.

The 23 year old Nisha had been working in film industry as a junior artist and was pregnant at the time of her death.

She had committed suicide once in the past too with the tortures of her husband. She consumed poison then. But, there was no change in the behavior of her husband even then and he continued to harass her.

With this, Nisha set herself ablaze by pouring kerosene on her body on Wednesday. She died on her way to Gandhi hospital.

Nisha's mother complained the matter to the police. Police have registered a case and are investigating the case.
