Jogi Ramesh Dares Devineni Uma For An Open Debate On Polavaram 

Vijayawada: Polavaram issue is soon becoming a hot potato for the ruling TDP. A day after Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao made a feeble attempt to counter former MP Vundavalli Arunkumar's attack on financial mismanagement, YSRCP official spokesperson Jogi Ramesh opened another front and dared Devineni for an open debate on Polavaram.

He said the TDP was trying to deceive the people of the state on one hand and on the other, is planning to blame the Opposition for the government's failure to complete the project as per schedule

In a scathing attack on the minister, the YSRCP leader alleged that Devineni Uma best suits as a commission agent and not as a minister. Addressing a press conference in Vijayawada on Thursday, Jogi Ramesh said that no TDP leader has any moral right to talk about the Polavaram project.

The YSRCP leader said that the minister is not competent enough to criticise Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is fighting for the people. Stating that the minister has failed to mitigate drinking water problem in Mylavaram, his constituency, the YSRCP leader said the minister should feel ashamed for not quenching the thirst of his people.
