Another TDP Leader Sacked On Charges Of Emotional Outburst
Anantapur: The process of sacking a leader for emotional outburst is continuing in the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with the latest being Tadipatri councilor Jayachandra Reddy.
The councilor is alleged to have said that MLA JC Diwakar Reddy resorted to corrupt practices in Tadipatri municipality. Following his comments, the TDP leadership ordered him to apologise to Diwakar Reddy. As he did not pay heed to the dikat of the leadership, he was suspended for a period of three months. Meanwhile, Tadipatri denizens expressed surprise at the suspension order of Jayachandra Reddy. They felt Diwakar Reddy should be suspended instead as he was facing several corruption cases.
Earlier, the TDP suspended JC Diwakar Reddy's son-in-law Deepak Reddy after Hyderabad police arrested him in connection with a land scam. Another senior TDP leader Vakati Narayana Reddy was also suspended following allegations that he duped banks after taking loans.
