Jaya greets people of Andhra Pradesh

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today greeted the people of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of the Foundation ceremony of the state's capital Amaravati on October 22, 2015.

On behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu, I convey our greetings and best wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh on this memorable occasion, she said in a letter to her AP counterpart, N Chandrababu Naidu.

She hoped that this will be the commencement of a new era of prosperity and growth for the people of Andhra Pradesh. I wish the function all success, she said.

She also congratulatd Naidu for his efforts in making this a reality.
