YS Jagan's riposte skills leave TDP leaders squirming
Several TDP leaders in the legislative Assembly today tasted Leader of the Opposition and YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan's riposte skills and found themselves at wits' end tackling him.
Be it on the TDP's allegations over TDP leader Paritala Ravi's murder or remarks over the assets, YS Jagan gave strong retorts and left them squirming.
Sources also say that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was unhappy with the way the TDP leaders, including ministers, failed in countering YS Jagan. He reportedly questioned the TDP leaders over their failure to tackle him effectively?
He reportedly told them to attack Jagan in such a way that he cannot counter back. He asked them to come prepared and not to leave anything to chance.
Stop vilification, else face defamation cases, Jagan tells TDP
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has warned the TDP MLAs to be ready to face defamation cases if they continue to make baseless allegations against him.
YS Jagan was reacting to the charges leveled by the TDP members in connection with the murder of TDP leader Paritala Ravi.
Soon after the first budget session of the AP Assembly began, the YSRCP MLAs demanded that debate should be taken up on the law and order situation in the State which had deteriorated ever since TDP came to power.
Side-tracking the issue, the TDP MLAs tried to bring the murder of Paritala Ravi which happened 10 years ago.
YS Jagan categorically said that the allegations were “baseless”. "Court already convicted the accused in the case. Chandrababu is also very much aware of the fact that I don't have any connection with the case." If that was true, how did Chandrababu allow JC brothers join the TDP, he asked.
He openly questioned the ruling party leaders that why shouldn't he file a defamation case if they continue to level such a baseless allegations against him
The YSRCP chief also questioned Chandrababu as to why he had not ordered the CBI probe in Vangaveeti Ranga's murder case.
