Jagan given a chamber that looks like a dumping yard
In a case of sheer negligence, the Government of Andhra Pradesh allotted an uncleaned chamber to the Leader of the Oppostion YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The room has garbage and discarded items strewn all around. Unbearable stench is emanating from the room.
The YSRCP has 67 MLAs in the assembly, but the party has been allotted just one tiny room. This is the room that YS Jagan will have to spend for the coming five years. Even to organise a meeting of his MLAs, Jagan has to look for another room. Though the issue was taken up with the assembly officials, they kept mum.
Secretary of Andhra Pradesh assembly K.Satyanrayana Rao has issued orders allotting various chambers for leader of the opposition, deputy speaker, chief whip and whips. However, the circular did not mention about the chambers allocation for the TDP MLAs.
Y.S.Jagan was not allotted a chamber in the building where the assembly proceedings happen, but in the Room no. G 4 in secretariat's administrative building.
Additional Secretary of the assembly of undivided Andhra Pradesh Gopala Krishna used to work out of this room. The room was seized after Gopala Krishna was suspended on corruption allegations.
