I was made a scapegoat, says Dharmana


Amid reports that minister, Dharmana Prasada Rao submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister, several ministers paid him a visit on Monday morning.

Among those who met him were—Erasu Pratapa Reddy and Vatti Vasanta Kumar. Sources say that Dharmana reportedly expressed anguish before the two ministers that he was made a scapegoat. He will be leaving for his hometown Srikakulam in the evening.

Dharmana's followers have chosen his birthday, which falls on Tuesday as the perfect occasion to show their strength. They have made elaborate arrangements for a mammoth public meeting tomorrow, it is learnt.

Dharmana would address this public meeting and announce his future course of action there, sources added. However, there has been no official confirmation of his resignation.
