Hyper Aadhi’s Dialogue Kicks Off Row, Orphanage Approaches Saifabad Police
Hyderabad: Television artiste and Jabardasth fame Hyper Aadhi and his team members landed themselves in trouble after an orphanage lodged a complaint with the Saifabad police here in the city against their show, Jabardasth.
A dialogue in Hyper Aadhi's skit recently aired in the Jabardasth programme on ETV, triggered a major controversy. "అతిగా ఆవేశపడే ఆడదానికి .. అతిగా ఆశపడే మగాడికి కలిగే సంతానం ని ఆనాధలు అంటారు," ( Orphans are those born to an over-emotional woman and a greedy man), says Hyper Aadhi in the show.
The members of the orphanage along with Tollywood film critic Mahesh Kathi approached the Human Rights Commission and lodged a complaint against Aadhi. They alleged that the dialogues in the skit had hurt the sentiments of orphans.
It may be recalled that women’s organisations had protested earlier against the programme and the manner in which the the show demeaned women.
A meeting was held on Saturday at Sundarayya Vignana Kendra to discuss issues pertaining to the controversy.
