Hyderabad Scholar To Work On PhD At University Of Tartu, Estonia

Deepika Kashyap, PhD Research Scholar in Communication Department, S N School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected as a Visiting PhD student in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Tartu, Estonia from 20th June, 2019 to 19 April, 2020. She is currently working under the supervision of Dr. P Kennedy, Associate Professor, Communication Department, UoH.

As a visiting PhD student Deepika is going to work on the topic “Internet Folklore and Online Mediated Identity” under the guidance of Prof. Ulo Valk from Department of Estonian and Comparative Folklore from. She has been given a study grant of 660 EUROs per month and a one-time travel grant in the framework of Dora Plus program.
