UoH Professor Invited To Australia

Prof. Vinod Pavarala, UNESCO Chair on Community Media and senior faculty at the Department of Communication, S N School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been invited to deliver the keynote address at the “Citizen and Community Media International Conference” being organised by the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI), Deakin University, Australia on June 6 – 7, 2019.

Prof. Pavarala will speak on Negotiating the Political in the Community Radio Sphere in India – Historical Choices, Contemporary Predicaments at the conference. Through research and policy advocacy for two decades, he has been at the forefront of the struggle for freeing of the airwaves in India and South Asia.
