Hyderabad Woman Narrates Her Tragic Story In Saudi Arabia; Video Posted Online
Hyderabad: Close on the heels of two Indian women Shabina Banu, Sujana Tulasi were reported of torture by their respective employers in Saudi Arabai, yet another case of physical assault of a Hyderabad woman has surfaced.
Haseena Begum(46) in a video appealed for help to rescue from her employer's clutches. The victim is seen lying on bed with fractured legs claiming that her employer pushed her off third floor of a building. She has been admitted at the Dammam Central Hospital.
Haseena went to Dammam in October last year and worked for two months. Later she escaped from her employer’s house and approached local authorities informing about the continuous harassment meted out on her. The local officials summoned the employer and told him to let her go after the completion of paper work. However, the employer pushed Haseena from third floor after taking her back to his home.
"My mother went to Saudi Arabia to make our lives better. She was promised 1,600 riyals a month, but the employer did not pay her even one riyal. When she asked for salary, the employer started harassing her," Md Wajid, the son of Haseena told the Deccan Chronicle.

MBT leader Amjed Ullah Khan took up the case and wrote a letter to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to take necessary action. The MEA has informed the Indian Embassy in Riyadh to look into the matter.
The Protector General of Emigrants has also replied, stating that Haseena may have travelled without taking Emigration Clearance.
Wajid and Khan have blamed the local agents for Haseena's problem and demanded action against the agent by the state government.
