BJP Chief Rushed To Hospital
New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Keshav Prasad Mourya has been rushed to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, here on Thursday.
According to sources, there was a sudden spurt in his blood pressure which forced his associates to rush him to the hospital. Doctors at the hospital stated that they are monitoring his health and there is a possibility of him being discharged on Friday itself. Keshav Prasad was one of the key strategist in BJP's stunning victory in Uttar Pradesh. The party had won 312 seats in the 403 state Assembly. Therefore, his name is in the reckoning among the party's top leadership for Uttar Pradesh's chief minister post. The other party stalwart in the race to the CM's post is union minister Rajnath Singh.
