Hyd to be made permanent spot to conduct Children’s Film Festival - Sakshi Post

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on October 16 said that the government is likely to make Hyderabad the permanent venue to host International Children’s Film festival.

 

Children’s Film Festival which is going to be held from November 14 to 20 will be held at I-Max. Minister released an audio compact disc, and launched the official website of 19th International Children’s Film Festival.

 

Since Hyderabad is one of the prominent locale for the growth of film industry, minister said that they will try to bring in stakeholders to expand the industry. Mr Yadav said that 450 child delegates, and 75 other delegates who are involved in film production would participate in this event. Minister further added that 14 cinema halls, and three screens in I-Max were selected for screening of the films.

 

Foundation and valedictory functions of the film festival will be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika at Shilparamam Thoranam, wherein workshops will be organized at Bal Bhavan in Public Gardens

Chairman of Children’s Film Society of India, Mukesh Khanna will be in Hyderabad till the event goes.
