Hungry Drunkard Man Eats Mother’s Heart With Chutney And Pepper

Mumbai: A 35-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for killing his mother and later ate her heart with chutney and pepper in Kolhapur.

According to the police, Sunil Kuchakarni was married and has three children. He was staying with his mother Yelava(65) in Mahawala Vasant in Kolhapur after his wife left him and moved to her parents’ home in Mumbai along with the kids. As he is a drunkard, he would take money from his mother.

On Tuesday, Sunil who was already drunk went to his neighbor's house for food. As no one offered him food, he then went to his home and asked Yelava to arrange food. Fed up with the son's alcoholic nature, Yelava argued with him to stop drinking. In a heated argument, Sunil stabbed his mother with a kitchen knife.

To satisfy his hunger, Sunil took out his mother's heart and ate it with chutney and pepper.

Seeing the accused coming out with blood in hands, neighbors informed the police. The police found Yelava lying in pool of blood and some of the parts were missing. They also found pepper and chutney beside her.

The police arrested him and sent the body for post-mortem.
