Human rights champion Chandrasekhar dies

Human Rights champion Bhuvanagiri Chandrasekhar is no more. The 47-year-old dies at a private hospital in Hyderabad today.

According to reports, Chandrasekhar was ill for the past few months and was admitted to NIMS for treatment recently.

Chandrasekhar, who was a lawyer by profession, secured Presidential pardon for two accused in the sensational Chilakaluripet bus burning case, in which 27 persons were burnt alive.

Andhra Pradesh Rural Development Minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad paid tributes to Bhuvanagiri.
His funeral will take place tomorrow in Guntur.
