Hudhud debate: YS Jagan roots for unanimous resolution
Leader of the Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy requested that all the parties should unanimously pass a resolution on the cyclone Hudhud which wrecked homes, uprooted trees, power lines and blocked roads in Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh.
There was a discussion on the Hudhud impact in the state in the second day of the winter session of the Assembly. Speaking on the issue, YS Jagan said that Hudhud should be discussed in detail when CM Chandrababu present in the house since it is a big issue.
He asserted that the dates of the Assembly session were decided by the Government. "It will be a big insult to the victims if the house discussed about Hudhud with CM being absent," he said and suggested that the issue be discussed on Saturday.
Meanwhile, minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that Chandrababu Naidu went to Vizag to take part in a programme and he would return after attending it.
