How Much Did Sukumar Make From Rangasthalam US Rights?

The regular shoot of Ram Charan-Sukumar's Rangasthalam 1985 is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers feel the film is shaping up well. Usually, the remuneration of an actor or director is fixed before hand.

However, we hear that Rangasthalam director Sukumar didn't charge any fee for the film. Instead, he was offered theatrical rights of the US. And now we hear that the US rights fetched around Rs 9.5 Cr.

Rangasthalam 1985 is set in a a village backdrop story where Ram Charan will be seen sporting a Lungi and a long beard. It is for the first time, Samantha is sharing screen space with Ram Charan.

The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and it is scheduled to hit the big screens in the month of March.
