Heritage milk quality leads to wordy duel in T assembly - Sakshi Post

TDP supremo Chandrababu's Heritage milk products' quality rocked the Telangana Assembly on Tuesday with the ruling party members and TDP leaders repeatedly disturbing the proceedings, forcing the chair to adjourn the house twice.

It began when the TDP members started criticizing the government on adulteration of milk. Immediately, the ruling party members hit back at the TDP leaders saying that Heritage milk products were adulterated.

As the TDP members didn't relent, IT minister KTR further said that the Kerala Government has banned Heritage milk and Telangana should also ban the products. Later, there was a brief exchange of words between TRS and TDP members when Revanth Reddy made certain remarks against the TRS government.
Even as the TDP members kept raising slogans, KTR mounted a scathing attack on them saying they were behaving as agents of Heritage company.
The verbal volleys did not end there. Even Congress senior leader Geetha Reddy said that adulterating milk is a heinous crime. She alleged that fluoride affected water was being mixed in the milk and leaders cutting across the parties should oppose it. While Deputy CM Rajaiah said that the issue of heritage products came to the Government's notice and added that the government will take necessary steps after a detailed inquiry on the milk quality.
