Hyderabad: Akhil Akkineni's Hello has given him a successful launch pad. The movie has got two thumbs up from the audience. The movie was released on December 22 which is a rom-com. Ace director Priyadarshan's daughter Kalyani Priyadarshan made her debut with Hello, who did a decent job in her first film.
Earlier, we told you about the film's third day collections. Now, according to reports, the film has raked in Rs22 Cr at the box-office by the weekend . Incidentally, though the positive word of mouth by the audience helped Hello, trade analysts see a drop in the collections. The reason is Nani’s MCA which is roaring at the box-office.
Hello is directed by Manam fame Vikram Kumar and produced by Nagarjuna. Meanwhile, Akhil is gearing up for another movie to be directed by Sukumar.
