Harsha's death: Students stage protest

The unfortunate death of BCom second year student Harshavardhan in Hanuman Tekedi Pragathi Mahavidyalaya, Ramkote, is creating ripples in the city. The boy died when he was attacked by a senior after he objected to the senior's harrassment of his girl colleague on November 29.

Hundred of students along with Harsha's relatives attended  the rituals on Sunday. Upset over the attitude of the college management, students forced themselves into the college to protest. College management assured of doing justice to Harsha. The accused, Satish Kodkar, has also been arrested.

A murder case has been registered with the Sultan Bazar Police Station against Satish. Sultan Bazar Police Station Inspector G Srinivas ruled out that the incident was a fallout of ragging. The accused is reportedly being interrogated in a secret place.
