Grill 9 Restaurant Sealed After Sanitary Officials Find Rats In Kitchen
Hyderabad: Another noted restaurant Grill 9 in Kharkhana was sealed on Wednesday in a special drive by the Secunderabad Cantonment Board's (SCB) health and sanitation wing for unhygienic conditions, a day after three popular sweet shops were sealed.
This is the fourth outlet sealed by the SCB after Agra Sweet House, Delhi Wala Sweet House and Bangalore Iyengar Bakery.

The restaurant was badly maintaining the kitchen, toilets and dining area and the owner also flouted the norms by using parking area to store the kitchen equipment
The officials said that the management kitchen premise was unhygienic and rats were also found and moreover they were running without obtaining trade license from the SCB.

With Diwali few days away many food outlets have hired extra laborers to meet the demand but have compromised on the hygiene.
The SCB officials said that the in all the special drive they found that kitchen lacked ventilation as it requires the maximum.
The kitchen staff should maintain separate floors to store food and leftover food shouldn’t be used. However, all these are being flouted and officials said that the drives would continue to keep a check on the restaurants irrespective whether it's a small outlet or a big one.
