Govt has made farmers more poor: Sharmila

YSR Congress party leader Sharmila hit out the ineffectiveness of the present government in the state. Conducting a Rachchabanda programme as part of her Maro Praja Prasthanam padayatra at T Narasapuram in Eluru on Wednesday, Sharmila said that the ruling party was against the welfare of people.

Although Kiran Kumar Reddy is implementing sops, they are not people-friendly, she alleged, adding, women and farmers do not have access to interest-free loans. She also said that Chandrababu Naidu was supporting a government which was working against people.

The YSRCP leader also assured of a security deposit for farmers and women if Jagan became the CM. Benefits for poor students, pension for senior citizens and funds for the welfare of handicapped people will reach in time during Jagan's regime, she assured. 

"Rajanna's dreams for the poor can be realized only if Jagan becomes the CM," she said.
