Good news for contract workers

Chief Minister KCR is getting a gift ready for the contract workers. They will be regularised on Telangana Formation Day, June 2.

According to sources, the guidelines for regularisation are being finalised. As many as 28000 contract employees would be benefited by this largesse.

The government formed a committee in August 2014 to formulate guidelines for regularising the employees. The guidelines have been accepted by the Finance Department and the chief secretary. Sources said those contract employees who completed five years of service as on June 2, 2014 will be considered for regularisation. In the next phase, those with less than five years experience will be considered.
