AP EAMCET results out

The AP EAMCET results are out. Minister for Human Resources Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Minister for Health and medicine Dr Kamineni Srinivas released the EAMCET results at JNTU, Kakinada.

The pass percentage is 77.42 percent, with the girls notching up 82.32 per cent and the boys 74.44 per cent. The results, issued in the form of ranks that factor in 25 per cent weightage for the marks secured in Intermediate.

In the engineering stream, Anirudh Reddy, who secured 151 marks topped the EAMCET, while Achyut Reddy with 151 and Jyothi with 156 marks stood second and third respectively. In the medical stream, Mithun with 151 marks and Bharadwaj with 151 marks stood first and second, while Damini with 150 marks stood third. The rank cards can be downloaded from May 24 and the counselling would be held from June 12.

Significantly, the EAMCET results have been made public a good five days before schedule. The key has been released on May 10. AP higher education board chairperson L Venugopal Reddy, EAMCEt 2015 chairperson Prof VSS Kumar were also present.
