AP SSC Results Out, Girls Outrank Boys 

Visakhapatnam: Girls once again proved their mettle by outranking boys in the Andhra Pradesh SSC results declared here on Saturday by education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao at Andhra University.

A total of 6,22,538 appeared for the exams of which 5,60,253 passed taking the overall pass percentage to 91.92 percent. The minister, however, clarified that the overall pass percentage declined by 2.60 compared to last academic year.

Interestingly, the pass percentage among girls is 91.97, while among boys it is 91.87. Among the districts, East Godavari topped with a pass percentage of 97.97 while Chittoor was at the bottom of the list with a pass percentage of 80.55.
