Girl Rejects Marriage Proposal For Being Asked To Leave Her Pet Dog

A Bangalore girl turned down a marriage proposal after the prospective groom asked her to abandon her pet as he didn’t like dogs.

The screenshot of WhatsApp conversation posted by Karishma Walia on social media has gone viral and she has garnered accolades for taking a daring decision.

Walia originally hailing from Bangalore works with Deloitte India in Gurgaon.

The guy tried to discourage Walia to change her thoughts saying life is more pivotal than a dog. But as Walia didn’t budge the guy signed off asking her to “please marry the dog in that case”

“It was an arranged marriage set-up. This guy was good to talk to, well-to-do and pretty good looking, but when I told him that I wanted to bring my dog with me after marriage, he wasn’t keen on it,” said Karishma, a passionate animal lover.

The guy tried to discourage Walia to change her thoughts saying life is more pivotal than a dog. But as Walia didn’t budge the guy signed off asking her to “please marry the dog in that case”.

Walia further said that initially her parents tried to dissuade from taking hasty decision but now they are proud of her choice.
