Girl gangraped in Hyderabad, filmed on phone

* Operations similar to Snake Gang

* One person arrested, hunt on for others
* Girl's mother gathers courage to approach police

A 15-year-old girl was gang-raped by some unidentified miscreants, who also made a video clip of the gory incident in Hyderabad city's Kanchanbagh police limits.

The incident took place on August 5 when the girl was returning home after completing tailoring training at Baba Nagar. The miscreants confined her in a room and gangraped her. The incident came to light only when the victim and her family members approached the police and lodged a complaint on Sunday.
The miscreants also made a video of the act and threatened to upload it on the Internet if she approached the police. The police have arrested one person identified as Chandu alias Ashraf Ali, and launched a manhunt to nab Ayub, Shakeel, Asad. The police said the modus operandi of the gang was similar to the Snake Gang, which terroristed women in Chandrayanagutta and Pahad-i-sharief area.
