Girl Child fed with liquor, killed by father in Guntur

It is something else than the mixture of mind-sets, customs and economics that makes a girl-child a bad omen, an unwanted being in the country.

It is definitely the brutality that is disposing off baby-girls long before they are born. Here was another heinous incident of similar gender bias, in which a miscreant killed his one-year old daughter in Guntur district on Monday.

According to police, he deliberately fed raw liquor to his daughter, since he dislikes his girl child. Noticing the unconscious kid, the neighbours rushed her to a nearby hospital. But doctors declared that the kid was brought dead. The accused fled from the scene soon after the incident, and searches were on to nab him, police added.
