GHMC Poll Boycott by Roshandaula Residents

Hyderabad: Residents of Roshandaula in Hasthinapuram division of Saroor Nagar refused to cast their vote in the GHMC elections and staged a sit-in at the polling station demanding redressal of their grievances.
They demanded the district collector to address them and update them about action taken regarding their grievances. The protestors numbering about 500 said that Roshandaula lacks a crematorium and despite numerous representations the civic officials did not heed their requests.
