Gali's close aide being questioned by CBI

The CBI took Mehfuz Ali Khan, the close aid of mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy into its custody this morning. He was shifted from Chanchalguda prison to the CBI custody for interrorgation.

The court has permitted the CBI to keep him under its custody till 16 October. 

The court has directed the CBI to interrorgate Ali Khan in the presence of lawyers between 10am and 5pm. The CBI has also been asked to produce Janardhan's close aide before the court after completion of questioning. 

It's a known fact that Ali Khan is the 7th accused in the OMC scam. Hence, the Hyderabad CBI officers moved him from Bangalore jail to Hyderabad three days ago to get more details from him on the case.
