Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao failed to appear before the CBI court on Tuesday in the quid pro quo case.

He requested the court through his lawyer to excuse his absence considering he was busy with the post death rituals of his mother who expired last Thursday. The court has obliged his request.

However, auditor Vijaya Sai Reddy, Nimmagadda Prakash, APIIC official Yerlagadda Lakshmi Prasad appeared before the court in person in the case.

Meanwhile, the CBI is expected to question the accused  in the Chanchalguda jail, in relation to the quid pro quo and OMc cases through video conferencing at 3pm today.
