'Free Telugu films from the 4 families'

Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana said that Telangana film industry can survive only when it manages to oust the four families that have been controlling the industry.

Speaking at the felicitation organised by the Telangana Film Journalist Association, he said the cultural domination on Telangana started through films only. "Telangana film industry can survive only when it was freed from the iron clutches of those four families which are commanding the film industry,” he said.

On the occasion, Narayana unveiled the logo and website of Telangana Film Journalist Association at the function.

He asked the film directors and producers to come forward to make films on the greatness of Telangana.

“We can appreciate the essence of Telangana culture only when we watch films like ‘Maa Bhumi’,” said Narayana.
In the function, film actor and director R.Narayana Murthy, TEMJU President Ramana, Telangana directors association president Sridhar and members of Telangana film journalist association participated.
