Fraudster who promised govt jobs arrested
A habitual fraudster who allegedly cheated unemployed youth by offering them jobs under a government scheme was arrested on Thursday, police said.
Accused Thota Balaji Naidu, a native of East Godavari district was arrested at Barkatpura here, police said adding he confessed to have cheated unemployed youth by offering to arrange jobs under the 'Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu' (a government programme imparting job-specific training).
Naidu allegedly collected Rs 3.50 lakh from them. Earlier also, he had allegedly cheated some people and was even jailed.
