Forensic officials takes Owaisi voice 3rd time
The local court in Nizamabad District on Tuesday adjourned the bail petition of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi, booked for sedition over his alleged 'hate speech' last year, to February 14.
Owaisi was brought from Adilabad jail to the Nizamabad District court amid tight security.
It is learnt that Owaisi had claimed that the voice at the footage of hate speech was not his and he also told this during interrogation. Thus, the forensic experts today recorded his voice for the third time.
Meanwhile, The court also extended Owaisi's judicial remand till February 26.
It may be recalled here that the voice of the MIM leader was recorded on Feb 5 in Nirmal town.Police arrested Owaisi on January 8 in connection with the hate speech made by him at Nirmal. He has been lodged in the Adilabad jail from the time of his arrest.
