For Lokesh, PV Narasimha Rao Is A TDP Man

Count on Nara Lokesh to do the outrageous and say the unthinkable! He had the dubious distinction of greeting the people on Ambedkar's death anniversary. He had also said that he would strive to create water-less villages in two years. As if this was not enough, he said during the elections that if there is any party which is an epitome of castiesm, communialism and financial misdemeanors, it has to be TDP. This comment left the TDP backers and activists shell-shocked.

On Wednesday, he was at it again. He attended the birth anniversary of PV Narasimha Rao in Delhi. During his speech, he said PV became a prime minister as he was from the TDP. Now, everyone knows that PV is from the Congress and he died a Congressman. This comment evoked derision.

Realizing his gaffe, Lokesh tried to salvage the situation saying that he was from the Telugu states not from the Telugu Desam. One is left wondering if Lokesh is absent minded or doesn't know the basics of politics.
