Flurry of activity in Delhi, Hyd on 'T' issue
Chiranjeevi meets CM
Union Minister for Tourism K Chiranjeevi met Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at the camp office in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
According to sources, they discussed on the Telangana issue and the different views expressed by the ministers and MLAs on the issue .
Kodandaram meets KK
Telangana political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram called on Congress senior leader K. Keshava Rao at the latter's home to discuss on the latest political situation as the Centre was likely to announce its decision on the Telangana issue on January 28.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, Kodandaram said TJAC never responded on the speculations. "We don't accept Hyderabad as joint capital for Andhra and Telangana states. We want Telangana state with 10 districts and capital of Hyderabad."
Seemandhra leaders meets Azad
Amid speculations that the Centre had held series of meetings on the Telangana issue, some Seemandhra Congress leaders have rushed to New Delhi.
Irrigation minister T.G. Venkatesh, Law Minister Erasu Prathap Reddy, Cooperatives Minister Kasu Krishna Reddy and Minister for Animal Welfare & Husbandry Vishwa Roop met Union Minister Gulam Nabi Azad in New Delhi.
They are likely to meet Union Minister Vayalar Raviin the evening.
Sources said the ministers are trying to get an appointment with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
