A demand to be served fish curry led to fish fight between two group of wrokers
Bhadrachalam: A demand to be served fish curry led to fish fight between two group of workers at Bhadrachalam town on Sunday night.
The workers coming from Bihar and West Bengal were in the town for the construction work of a bridge. According to SI Hari Singh, workers from Bihar after their day’s labour prepared a fish curry to savour. During that time, 12 persons, in an inebriated condition from West Bengal happened to be present there demanded to serve them the fish curry as well. To this, Bihar workers promptly denied which led to a fight and they were beaten up by the latter with iron rods.
Following the noise, the other people gathered and rushed the injured to a private hospital. A case was registered against West Bengal workers and a probe is going on.
