Fight over flight: TDP, Congress on tussle in Dehradun airport - Sakshi Post

In a shameful act, where people were to be rescued, politics turned ugly downsizing the image of Telugu pride. An awkward drama has taken place in the soil of the other state.  It is a tug of war between the major political parties of Andhra Pradesh which leads to ruckus with indecent behaviors of our leaders at Dehradun airport.

To help the Andhra pilgrims stuck in the Uttarakhand floods, TDP and Congress vied each other on Wednesday. TDP arranged a private flight to shift the flood victims from Dehradun, while the State Government too hired a flight at the same time to bring Telugu pilgrims back to home. While these helpless people were already disturbed with flood trauma, there was a fight between the TDP and Congress leaders much embarrassing to the general passengers at the airport.

Each flight engaged by TDP and Congress has a capacity of 150 pilgrims each. But there are just 130 pilgrims, who had been evacuated by Army jawans from Kedarnath. Both the leaders pulled and pushed the pilgrims, who had experienced horrifying experiences in the flash floods, to grab them into their flights.

The leaders are none other than TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao. Chandrababu Naidu reportedly snatched away the flight tickets from the pilgrims when the Congress leaders already gave them their tickets to board the flight.

TDP MP Ramesh Rathod and Congress MP VH had an altercation and the both pushed each other in the melee in the very presence of Chandrababu Naidu. Several leaders expressed their anguish over this skirmish, saying that it was insulting to the people of Andhra. A fight that happened amidst a huge crowd of air passengers, is something that the Telugu pilgrims least expected.

Talking to Sakshi TV, VH said the TDP workers snatched flight tickets from the pilgrims and we questioned it which leads to a tussle.
