Fake note printing machine found in Vijayawada

A fake note printing machine was found by locals on Thursday near Durgapuram bridge in Vijayawada.

According to reports, the locals found a strange cell like device, and fearing it might be a bomb, notified the police immediately. Police reached the spot with finger print and bomb squad team, and identified the object as a fake note printing machine. 

Alongside the machine, police also recovered ready to print notes, cotton packets and packed black coloured note sized papers.

SP Appa Rao then shifted the machine to police station.

Interestingly, 'Top secret! The bureau of Engineering and Printing, United States Depart of Treasury' was printed on a letter pad that was recovered along with the machine. American flag symbol and United States logo was also imprinted on it. Along with that contact information of one, Lariscot was handwritten on the box.
